Ich gebe Unterricht auf folgenden Instrumenten:
– Saxophone: Sopran, Alt, Tenor und Bariton (Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene)
– Klarinette und Bassklarinette (Anfänger)
– Querflöte (Anfänger)
Neben meiner Tätigkeit als Saxophonlehrerin gebe ich auch Musikunterricht in Improvisation und Musiktheorie. Dieses Angebot richtet sich an alle Instrumentalisten und auch Sänger*innen.
Meine Devise lautet: „Spaß haben ist der beste Weg, sich zu verbessern.“
Alter: ab 10 Jahre
Der Unterricht kann in Deutsch, Französisch oder Englisch erfolgen.
Unterrichtsinhalte:
Für Anfänger und leicht Fortgeschrittene
Ich versuche in meinen Musikstunden die Basistechniken, die für das Erlernen des Instruments unabdingbar sind, in dem musikalischen Kontext zu vermitteln, der dem Schüler oder der Schülerin am besten gefällt. Ob das Jazz, Pop, Latin oder Rock ist, ist dafür erst einmal nicht so wichtig.
Für die Motivation ist es wichtig, überhaupt erst einmal Musik zu machen und Spaß mit dem Instrument zu haben.
Den Einstieg in das Saxophon- oder Klarinetten/Querflöten-Spiel unter Anleitung einer professionellen Lehrerin zu machen ist der schnellere und sichere Weg um langfristig Spaß mit dem Instrument zu haben. Denn gerade Position, Haltung, Atmung und vor allem wegen des Ansatzes ist es normalerweise nötig, direkt beobachtet und korrigiert zu werden um sich keine Fehler anzugewöhnen.
Bei Schülern, die vorher noch nie Musik gemacht haben, nehmen wir uns immer einen Teil der Unterrichtsstunde Noten- & Rhythmus-Lesen.
Eine gute Ausrüstung ist sehr wichtig und ich bin immer bereit bei der Auswahl des ersten Instrumentes zu helfen.
Meistens empfehle ich jedoch jedem Anfänger, für die ersten 2 Monate ein Saxophon zu leihen: Das ist sicherer, wenn man noch nie vorher gespielt hat.
Für leicht Fortgeschrittene bis Fortgeschrittene:
Wenn die ersten Schritte auf dem Instrument gemacht sind ist es an der Zeit sich mehr mit musikalischen Inhalten zu beschäftigen.
An diesem Punkt ist ein erster Einstieg in die Improvisation sinnvoll und es geht darum, wie man ein Solo in verschiedenen Musikstilen spielt.
Wir entwickeln die Phrasierung und Artikulation, indem wir Soli von verschieden Jazzmusikern analysieren und kopieren oder Jazz-Etüden spielen.
Darüber hinaus verfeinern wir die Technik durch Übungen mit Tonleitern, Intervallen, Akkorden, Sequenzen etc.
Schüler, die klassische Musik mögen können sich natürlich auch gerne mit Etüden, Suiten, Inventions von den großen Meistern wie J.S.Bach, G. Telemann, M.Mule, J-M.Londeix etc. beschäftigen.
Im Rahmen der Beschäftigung mit Improvisation und Solospiel vermittele ich natürlich auch das notwendige Wissen über Theorie und Gehörbildung.

Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass Musikunterricht Kontinuität braucht.
Aus diesem Grund biete ich nur wöchentlichen Unterricht mit monatlicher Bezahlung an.
Um Herauszufinden, ob wir als Schüler*in und Lehrerin zusammen passen, biete ich einen Probemonat an. Nach den ersten vier Unterrichtsstunden kann man ohne Kündigungsfrist aufhören. Darüberhinaus gibt es die Möglichkeit, eine Probestunde von 30 Minuten zum Preis von 15€ zu bekommen.
Falls die berufliche Situation es erfordert bin ich flexibel und versuche eine Möglichkeit zu finden, auf ihre Wünsche einzugehen.
Ich unterrichte jede Woche mit Ausnahme der Schulferien und Feiertage (NRW).
Preise für Düsseldorf sind 5€ extra pro Monat.
Kinder und Teenager: (bis 12 Jahre)

For beginners / medium level students:
During my lessons I always try to include a bit of technique through different kinds of studies (depending of what styles the student likes) in order to get the fundamentals of the saxophone but also a „famous“ tune (Jazz, Pop, Latin, Rock etc…) so the student can directly start having fun with the instrument and not struggle for years with solfege and technique before actually starting to enjoy the instrument.
The beginning is very important because of the posture, the breathing but especcially the „embouchure“ that often needs to be corrected the first times and will be determinant for the future.
For the people that have never played music before we also include a short „reading-notes“ time at the beggining of the lesson.
N.B: Good equipment is very important and I’m always there for helping to choose a first Instrument but most of the time, I advice every beginner to rent a saxophone for the 2 first month: it’s safer if you have never played before.
For the medium level and advanced students:
This is the time for starting with improvisation and the process of learning how to play a solo in every kind of musical style.
We developp the phrasing and articulation by transcribing solos or playing Jazzetudes of different Jazz masters and sharpen the technique through exercices based on scales, intervals and sequences.
With people who like classical music we play etudes, inventions, suites etc from the grand masters like Bach, G.Telemann, M.Mule, J-M.Londeix etc
If asked we go further in the understanding of Jazz theory.

„Jazzworkshop at Rain Studio“
…is a saxophone masterclass organised by Christine Corvisier most of the time for 2 days during a weekend: 2 or 3 times a year.
The program depends of the level of the students and is mostly played in saxophone 4tet or 5tet.
She writes „taylor-made“ jazz arrangements for the participants of the workshop and it cannot take place if there is less than 4 pupils: eveybody is welcome to participate, also the pupils that are not regulary taking classes with Christine Corvisier.
